The DJIA declined by 82.76 points to 24801.36 while The S&P 500 Index fell by 1.32 points to 2726.80 on Wednesday. The yield on 10-year Treasuries was 2.88% while WTI crude closed at $61.15 a barrel.
The speculation that tariffs on steel and aluminum would damage U.S. economy made the DJIA fell by 300 points briefly but the news that the Trump administration will take measures to avoid negative effects through exemptions
eased the threat of Trade War and urged market participants to purchase stocks.
The Nikkei 225 Stock Average gained by 93.38 points to 21346.10 on Thursday. Nippon Yusen (9101) opened at ¥ 2220 and closed at ¥ 2173. The high was ¥ 2220 and the low was ¥ 2163.
I purchased 1000 shares of Nippon Yusen (9101). BOJ monetary policy meeting will be held tomorrow. The U.S. Labor Department will release job data in February around 10:00pm JST tomorrow.
